Which Kunena Version do you want to install?

Does it touch the technical requirements and php settings?:

Yes, my web server meets the minimum requirement for Kunena 1.0.9 and 1.5. I have tried installing both the versions to check if any one of them installs. I have even reinstalled Joomla 1.5 and have tried installing Kunena and the same happens.

Once the upload of the file is completed, then the screen goes blank. i have waited for over half hour for the screen to change and nothing happens.

Found the solution,

First i unzipped the downloaded file to a local directory on my computer, then i created a folder called kunena in the tmp folder of Joomla on the server. I uploaded all the unzipped files on my local computer to the tmp/kunena folder.

I ran Install from a Directory and pointed the path to the tmp/kunena folder.

Installation was successful. I guess it is because of the 30 second timeout. As some of us have our sites on shared hostings, it may or may not be possible to get the hosting company to increase the timeout period.

Give this a shot and i am sure it would work.
