Hello all

Currently developing my site and have changed from Fireboard to Kunena and I must say thanks to all at Kunena for developing a great forum. I'm new to Joomla and I can't believe what the Joomla community offers !

To the issue at hand.....The installation went fine except that the Security Settings in the configuration do not appear to be working correctly (or it's me !).

Joomla 1.510
Kunena 1.09

I want to allow any site visitor to view posts but only registered users to write posts. I have set the security settings as follows:

Registered Users Only - No
Public Read / Write - No

As a site visitor, when the Forum main menu item is clicked, the forum appears but when clicking on a post it states 'Message: You must log in first, To access the private area of this site please log in'.

A registered user has no problems accessing and posting (which seems to be correct).

Any ideas why this request to log in for a site visitor, even when the security setting is set to allow public view ?

I've been trying all combinations and I'm truly stumped ! :silly:

Thanks in advance

Cheers
