G'day, moof. I hate to sound like a killjoy, mate, but your avatar display is working (after a fashion) although I sympathise with your frustration in not being able to upload your own avatar.... for some reason I can't select avatars and I can't upload them either infact nothing works where avatars are concerned
95% of these frustrating problems occur as the result of users changing the initial Kunena settings - it's an easy thing to do when there are 134 of them - but it's relatively straightforward to back-track and figure out how each of them work.
In any troubleshooting, keep things simple. Out-of-the-box, Kunena works without changing any setting. Sure, the forum may not blend well into your website's theme, but that's merely matter of cosmetics. So, for starters, choose an image for your avatar that's simple and not large (say, 50 Kb). The fact that you could upload an avatar here at www.kunena.com indicates that the avatar upload facility works, doesn't it?
Secondly, change your Kunena settings back to their original "factory" values: see docs.kunena.com/index.php/Kunena_Configuration and slowly and methodically make your way through adjusting things to suit your needs.
Lastly, it's possible that some other Joomla component may be interfering with the operation. It's possible, for example, that you have a peculiar security protection setting on your avatar upload folder. It may also be possible that you do not have the GD2 image processor installed.
They're just a few thoughts to start you on your way. Good luck and stay cool.
