I have installed and set up the forum. Everything seems to work fine using Firefox, but when I try to login using Internet Explorer 8 I get boxes with red x's in several places. It seems that everything is on the screen just not in correct placement because of the red x's.

It dosent seem to matter if I l log in as admin or not. Viewing with IE8 gives the same result. However viewing this site through IE8 works fine.

My setup is
XANPP on local server
JOOMLA 1.5
KUNENA 1.0.9
Community Builder

I have tried the normal stuff under IE8 tools, images is on, deleted temp internet files.

Not sure what to try now.

Normally, when you get a redX in place of an image, it means that the path to the image file is incorrect. Do you have a url to your site so that I can take a look?

What Kunena template are you using? If memory serves only the default template has an image set. I haven't looked recently.

We love stars on the Joomla Extension Directory . :-)

Thanks guys,
I am currently developing the site on my local machine so I really dont have a URL. Also I am using the "default_gray" template for Kunena.

Not sure what the problem might be. Like I said it all works fine in Firefox, But I found I get the same RED X's using Google Chrome.

Thanks
