Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Couple Installation Questions. was created by yamemaru
I'm looking to install this forum, but I have a couple questions before I do.

Currently I use the template JA SANADINE which originally came with the older version (fireboard)

I've never really opened the forums and it has no posts in it. Which brings me to my question,

1) is it better to UPGRADE that fireboard or just uninstall it and install Kunena forums?

2) Does this forum automatically integrate into the body of my layout?

1): Sice you have no data in your Fireboard install, it doesn't matter what you do. Unistall firbeoard and install kunena. Remember to change your menu item. But before you install have a look at the docs.kunena.com/index.php/Technical_Requirements and the docs.kunena.com/index.php/Installation_Instructions .

2): Kunena doesn't integrate into your Joomla template, but uses it own template system.

PS The next version of Kunena - 1.0.9 - is just around the corner.

To clarify. Ja Sandine NEVER included with the official version of Fireboard. In other words it was never available as a download from Best of Joomla-ever.
We love stars on the Joomla Extension Directory . :-)
