Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

This is for users to help other users, to discuss topics that relate to migrating from other web-based forums and converting the data into a form that will operate with Kunena.

It is important to note that the Kunena team does not have a standard, recommended or supported protocol for these ideas and that posting questions in this category may not receive advice from team members.

Question How to migrate PHPBB 3.x to the latest Kunena?

I recently updated a PHPBB forum to the latest release (3.3).
I'd now like to import it into a Joomla 5 website with Kunena 6.
Is that possible?
And does anyone have a good guide for this?

Best regards,
Wouter

Hi Leen,
Thanks for pointing me to that topic.

It's strange that I didn't receive an email notification of your reply.
That's why I didn't respond sooner, unfortunately.

Best regards,
Wouter

Hi,
It has been a while since I asked this question here on the forum, but I didn't quite manage to figure it out back then with the tips and advice in the referenced topic.
Is there anyone here who has recently performed a migration from phpBB to Kunena?
And did you create a manual or step-by-step plan for it that I could follow?
I hope that someone reading this has experience with such a migration and can help me with the right information.

Best regards,
Wouter
