Migration of kunena.org to Joomla! 4.x and Kunena 6.x on 30 january on evening (Yesterday)

Tomorrow 30. January we will carry out the migration to Joomla 4.x and Kunena 6.x. So we will starting to be offline at 19h00 UTC until 23h00 UTC.

× This is for users to help other users, to discuss topics that relate to migrating from other web-based forums and converting the data into a form that will operate with Kunena.

It is important to note that the Kunena team does not have a standard, recommended or supported protocol for these ideas and that posting questions in this category may not receive advice from team members.

I have Codingfish Discussions 1.6.1 installed in a Joomla 2.5 site, hosted in a LAMP server.

Only registered users can access the discussions forum (so cannot post a link). It works pretty well, but I doubt I will get a Joomla v3 compatible version - hence attraction of migration to Kunena.

I don't want to loose the posts already in the Discussions forums, so if I can extract and import into Kunena and maintain the metadata, I will.

How did you do it? SQL scripts?
