Kunena 6.3.6 Released - Security release

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.6 [K 6.3.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3
Note: Please go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated.

This is for users to help other users, to discuss topics that relate to migrating from other web-based forums and converting the data into a form that will operate with Kunena.

It is important to note that the Kunena team does not have a standard, recommended or supported protocol for these ideas and that posting questions in this category may not receive advice from team members.

Hi,

I wish to migrate to Kunena, can someone advise me on the steps?
Is there any 2.0 importer available? Cause I can convert to other forums before importing.

You could use the Kunena 1.7 Importer to import, then upgrade Kunena to 2.0, however I believe that MyBB is not supported.

I will move this to a Request for Help forum, see if someone is willing to help you do this. You may have to offer a payment if it is a big forum you wish to migrate.

Alright, I have converted mybb to phpbb3 and did some adjustments...
Then import it using importer to Kunena 1.7
Then upgrade to 2.0

It looks good but I believe the users have to do password reset? since the passwords might be different

And, I uninstalled the importer but the "importer" still exist in the component dropdown? how to remove that link?
