Question Kunena Latest does not display latest posts in restricted categories, unless I have logged in first

The Latest only displays forum topics if a person is logged in to my site overall. Else it displays "no posts" to the general public.
I believe I have given permission to Guests to see the forum.
However, the page that the forum displays on is set to restricted so that only registered users can use it.
I would like public to be able to see the Latest to encourage them to register.

Kunena is still missing teasers -- either users can see and read the topic/post or not.

Matias is correct: users can either see and read topics or they cannot. Yes, you can allow guests to see your forum (in a general sense). Yes, you can restrict certain categories in your forum so that only registered users can see the topics in those categories. You have restricted certain categories in your forum so that only registered users can see those topics. The Kunena Latest module is merely honouring your choice.
