Kunena 6.3.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.8 [K 6.3.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3
Note: Please go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated.

This category is for the plugin developed, endorsed, maintained and supported by the Kunena project team. The topics in this category only relate to the plugin developed for K 3.0 and later versions.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Hi,
when posting in the forum, the user is automatically subscribed to the topic.
I am testing discuss, and when the post is made from an article the auto subscribe is not set, if I answer on the same topic in the forum, the subscription is activiated.
Is there a special setting to have it working ?

there are 2 settings:

1) Is the global setting for new users: backend - kunena- configuration - Users - Check Subscription Box
2) users can change the setting for himself on edit profile.

The global setting is checked.
The fonction works for all the regular topics in kunena but not for discuss.
And it works if i reply from the forum but not from the discuss in an article.

What I mean is that the checkbox is not displayed in discuss so we can not subscribe.
Would it be possible to add the checkbox?
