Kunena 6.4.13 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.13 [6.4.13] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.0
Hint: This version is primarily intended to facilitate an upgrade if Joomla was first updated to version 6.1 before Kunena was up to dated.

I have been using RSFirewall! recently,
and I have noticed that it shows a warning for the Kunena plugins; it mentions dots in files.
Could this be a problem?
I use the latest Joomla 6.1.2 and Kunena versions 7.0.7 2026-07-08.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Hello,
In the kunena package there isn't language files starting with a dot. If it's language that you don't use you can delete it.

thank you
it seems to only occur in the language ckb-IQ
"ckb-IQ is the language and country code (locale) for Central Kurdish (Soranî) spoken or written in Iraq"
so I removed this from my languages where rsfirewall refers to
and also extracted it locally on my PC as a test from the
pkg_kunena_languages_v7.0.8-DEV_2026-07-20.zip
and repacked it as a test
now the rsfirewall scan no longer gives warnings about those kunena plugins

Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!

I have no idea why, but these actually have a period at the beginning.
However, this poses no danger; the preceding period simply makes them only invisible. I've created a ticket on Git.
