Kunena 6.2.6 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

Please Read This First:


This category is only for reporting defects with K 3.0.

Do not use this category:
  • to ask general questions about how to use K 3.0 or to ask when new versions of Kunena will be released;
  • to ask about other (older) versions of Kunena; or
  • if you have tried to install K 3.0 on J! 1.5; or
  • if you installed K 3.0 on a live, production site and you want your site restored to its previous state; or
  • if this website ( www.kunena.org ) works but works differently to how you expected.

Can't enter categories. Jump to home page was created by krautmartin
For some reason I can't enter any catergory. Instead there is a jump to the home/start page.

It happens with all test users (different access levels and permissions). What I also recognized, my site is pretty slow. Something strange must be going on there. :blink:

I have been working on this site for 4 days now. Kunena was one of the first components that I installed. Everything worked fine, until now. I haven't a vague idea what the reason can be. :dry:

Actually I wanted to launch the site in a few hours :(

It's solved. I checked the database. Two table header(?) did not responde. I did a DB reorg and now it works like charme.

(EDIT): Not solved :-(

Well, now I get 404, in the worst case: The 404 is coming an going. And because I think that topic mentioned above (jump to Homepage) and the 404 are related to each other, I didn't open a new thread.

Problem: Any category leads to 404.
What I did so far:
- googling like hell :dry:
- Toggled SE friendly URLs and URL rewritting
- turned on/of htaccess
- Cleared Cache, checked database
- I turned off JCE as default Editor.

Some times it works, sometimes not. HELP! :(
