Question Users can delete their posts even when setting doesn't allow it

I have set in the configuration, "User Can Delete Own Post" to "Never" and in the edit post to yes, with no time limit. I do this because I want to give the users the possibility to change all their content, including removing it all, however, if they choose to remove all of it I want ot let other users see that they have indeed removed the contents, but deleting the post makes for confusion as people might be left answering ghost posts and scratching their heads. At least with the empty post people can understand somethings was there and make better sense of it.

So what happens (it didn't happen before) is that a user deletes all the contents of their post, and click submit, they get an error that empty posts are not allowed, then they put a space in the edited post and click submit. This DELETES the post. Before the post would sit empty (if my memory isn't tricking me).

I don't want to allow this. How can it be fixed?

Thanks
Tomás

This is not a bug it's a feature. A empty message makes no sense. Yes I know, not all users are happy with it. Maybe we to add a third option: User Edits = "Yes, except no answers".
