Solved K 3.0.6 + J! 3.3.4 pagination number links not returning to first page of topics

Users can't return to first page when navigating pages within a category. For example:
If on /forum/48-the-novel-writers-group?start=210
It won't return to /forum/48-the-novel-writers-group (the first page)
However, if I manually add ?start=1 to the URL it will return to the 1st page.
It's doing this on all categories, and was first reported after updating to 3.06
I've tried turning using the Blue Eagle with and without the Blend with Joomla Template. I found the same result with different browsers. I've reinstalled 3.06, reset topics per page and tried other settings, but can't get it working right.

The 4330 patch didn't solve the Kunena problem for me. Will keep checking around.

I am experiencing the exact same problem.
I did not notice it until after updating Joomla to 3.3.4

I updated to Joomla 3.3.4 and Kunena 3.06 on the same day on 2 different sites. Both sites have the same problem now. I tried the 4330 patch recommended, (replacing a line of code in legacy.php). It doesn't solve Kunena's frontend problem.
Am I missing something?
Any suggestions on where I can find some answers? Both sites use the forum as classrooms and are very active, so I'm getting flooded with support requests.
I've posted a user-side fix, that is to add ?start=1 to the end of the url to get back to the first page of topics. Some will get this, but many won't.

Hello,

We are insvestigating on the issue, you can go back to J!3.3.3 untill we fix it : www.kunena.org/forum/kunena-3-0-support/...version-3-3-4#159318

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Hi.

Pagination is being altered by Joomla 3.3.4 while SEF is enabled.

The Page 1 URLs no longer contain the http request variable "limitstart=0"

This is a brand new site with nothing but current Joomla (3.3.4) and current Kunena (3.0.6).

Any assistance would be apprecitated.

Here is an example link:
www.web-bit.com/index.php/forum/welcome-mat

I would prefer NOT to turn off SEF
