Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Configuration report cannot be selected for copying. was created by Gindi
Up to Kunena version 6.4.8, it was possible to select the configuration report for copying by clicking on the ‘Select all’ field. The text of the configuration report was then highlighted in blue and could be copied.
In versions 6.4.10 and 7.0.x, this is no longer highlighted in blue. Clicking on ‘Select All’ copies the text without making it visible.
I have modified the previous report so that copying is possible after all.

Confirmed. However, this is another bug that does not occur everywhere. Of two of my seemingly identical test pages, the bug only occurs on one of them.

I did not receive any error messages in any of my test versions.

When I hover over ‘Select All’ with the mouse in Joomla 5.4.3 and Kunena 6.4.8, right-click and then click on Inspect (Q), a blue line is displayed.

The # has an underscore and event is in a light-coloured ‘bubble’.
At the very bottom, under the bin, it says ‘Copying text command was successful’. 

When I perform the same operation in Joomla 6.0.0 and Kunena 6.4.8, (event) is missing from the blue line and at the very bottom it says: ‘For further info see ’https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-XSS‘

I have now carried out three tests with Joomla 5.4.3.

Starting with Kunena 6.4.8, then updating to Kunena 6.4.10 and continuing with an update to Kunena 7.0.2 

With Kunena 6.4.8, the text is highlighted in blue and can be copied, as is the case with Kunena 6.4.10.
With Kunena 7.0.2, the text is not highlighted in blue, and can not be copied.

With the modified report.php, the text is not highlighted in blue, but can be copied.

Ha, that's true in my test with Joomla 6.03 and Kunena 7.02.
When I click the "Select All and Copy" button, the text doesn't turn blue.
But it does copy the text and then I can paste it into a topic.
