Hi Andy,
You wrote that "It was all working up to a few weeks ago, and yesterday I noticed I couldn't upload forum images. I updated Kunena to the latest version, but that didn't fix it."
But which Joomla version are you using, and which Kunena version was it before you updated?
And what kind of server are you using?
Are the log and tmp paths still OK?
And is the htaccess file (if using a Linux server) or the web.config file (if using a Windows server) correct?
Could you please post a configuration report here on this forum?
www.kunena.org/docs/en/manual/backend/to...report-configuration
p.s.
I didn't receive a PM, so I don't think that's possible on this forum either.

With kind regards
Leen

Hello,

I have found the issue, you can try with this fix :  github.com/Kunena/Kunena-Forum/commit/17...4ebaf9bb9905f3ed008a

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Hi Andy,
You wrote that "It was all working up to a few weeks ago, and yesterday I noticed I couldn't upload forum images. I updated Kunena to the latest version, but that didn't fix it."
But which Joomla version are you using, (Joomla! 5.3.4  is the current version and it was last working properly two versions ago) and which Kunena version was it before you updated? (Kunena version 6.4.6 is the current version and it was last working properly two versions ago)
And what kind of server are you using? linux with a cpanel
Are the log and tmp paths still OK? - yes they are
And is the htaccess file (if using a Linux server) or the web.config file (if using a Windows server) correct? Yes, as far as I know, it is the default Joomla one.
Could you please post a configuration report here on this forum? Please see below
www.kunena.org/docs/en/manual/backend/to...report-configuration
p.s.
I didn't receive a PM, so I don't think that's possible on this forum either. No worries
Sorry for delayed reply, I have been distracted. I answered your questions above, and below is the configuration report.

Sorry, I didn't try using the fix in your previous reply but now I am on the latest versions Kunena version 6.4.6 and Joomla! 5.3.4 I find there is a small improvement. I can now actually upload images, however, their thumbnails don't display until after the post has been Saved. Until it is Saved, only the file name is displayed. Also, the image inserted into the post is very low resolution and looks horrible.

Hi,

I posted a CONFIDENTIAL Configuration Report last week but as I have not seen a reply yet I am wondering if the fact that it was confidential, that it isn't visible. Please let me know what to do.

Thanks,

Andy
