Kunena 7.0.9 & Kunena 6.4.14 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.9 [K 7.0.9] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Correct and can reproduce now as well on this forum. It has something to do with the threads entry in profile. When enabling debug en error reporting it shows:

Warning: Attempt to read property "value" on string in D:\xampp\htdocs\5\components\com_kunena\template\aurelia\layouts\user\edit\profile\default.php on line 141

ok I'm one step further to make it work
if I empty the table prefix_kunena_user in phpmyadmin and then in the website in the administor part
at Kunena Forum: Tools > Synchronize Users execute
then everything works fine again
only possible to upload  the avatar image again

another solution done a backup with in joomla 5.2.5 with kunena 6.3.10 put back and then Kunena updated to 6.4.1 then everything works without problems.
the bug in 6.4.0 is not cleaned up properly by 6.4.1.

I had improved it a bit in the developpement version of 6.4.2, you can test with this nightly build : update.kunena.org/nightlybuilds/pkg_kune...2-DEV_2025-04-01.zip
