Hi Kunena Team,

I am using Kunena 6.3.10 on a Joomla 4.4.13 website.
When I deactivate cookies, I can not switch to different pages of the topic.

Please see below link with cookies rejected "Ablehnen":

I am using a custom template NTS KBee for my forum, but the problem also happens with Aurelia.

I have realized, that you do not offer any more updated Kunena version for Joomla 4 platforms.
Why is that, as Joomla 4 is still supported this year.

Hope you have an idea, how to solve this issue.

Best regards and have a good weekend

Michael

Recently we had almost the same problem here in the forum. It was not the denied cookies that caused the problem, but the script of the cookie hint plugin.
Disable this plugin and test what happens if you do not allow cookies in the browser.

Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!

Hi Rich,

thanks for your advice. I will try this.
How did you go on with a permanent solution, because I need the cookie hint plugin.

Thanks in advance.

Best best regards

Michael

You can also check whether the plugin cookie hint has various settings, such as Allow refusal of cookies (set to yes).

With kind regards

I think it is just a crappy plugin as it blocks session cookies as well which should never be the case. If you absolutely want to use this plugin contact developers, if not use another plugin.

Hi there,

thanks for your kind advices!
Finally I fixed the problem by changing the setting of my GDPR components from storejextensions.org.
Now its working as it should.

Best regards and have a good day

Michael
