Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

The Action > Reply option is sending we to a list of users when super user was created by chriswaterside
I posted an issue report on Github and have been asked by Pinkeltje to report it here.

Please remove the menu item “Forum User” from the main menu and then also from the trash. Menu Issues  
Also deactivate the integration plugins Kunena - Easysocial and Kunena - JomSocial as these extensions are not installed.

changed the menu, I was not aware of this issue. That has cured the problem. THANKS
I tried disabling the two plugins. One worked , EasySocial,
but the other one Jom Social did not . It gave the message
"The plugin(s) cannot be enabled because the third party(ies) extension(s) aren't installed" even though I was disabling it.
Should I be concerned about this?

You do not need to worry, but you should not have any unnecessary plugins enabled.
These plugins can only be enabled/disabled via Kunena -> Plugins if the corresponding extension is installed.
However, you can enable/disable these plugins via the Joomla extension manager, this always works.
Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!
