I have installed version 6.3 of kunena in Joomla 5.2. Even as superuser it won't let me add new topics. I have tested that the category is public, then I log in and when I want to add a new topic I get a 403 error

Hi rdomina,
Try creating some categories and making them public. Then try creating a topic in a category and see if the error persists.

We have tested and do not have the same error as yours.

I have the same problem with 6.3.7. My other website with 6.3.2 does not have this problem.

I found the answer. It seems I mis interpreted the Kunena category closed item. The overview of all categories have an "X" of all open categories, where I thought the "V" had that meaning, but it has is the opposite effect. So having no categories with a "Open" status gives you the 403 error.

The green circle with the tick always means Yes and X stands for No. So: Category Blocked? The answer = X (No)
