We are in the process of trying to upgrade our Joomla-based website to Joomla 4. We have figured out how to solve many problems so that we can move ahead. Our last issues are with Kunena. Everything in the Admin backend seems to be fine. Running all the tests and checks, Kunena tells us that everything is fine. But when we click on any link to a forum topic, we see the error:

Incorrect datetime value: '1696996446' for column 'allreadtime' at row 1

Of course the datetime value number changes depending on what user we login as, but it remains the same if we logout and then login again as the same user and click a forum post link.

Please can someone tell us why this is happening, where it is coming from, and how we can fix it. Kunena problems are the only thing keeping us from going live with our Joomla 4 update.

Your advice fixed the situation. But I want to know why such a technically difficult process is necessary to make Kunena work properly. Who is responsible for such issues? I have spent hours altering the collation of Kunena tables and columns to get past a previous problem. Why is this kind of problem not addressed when we are upgrading? We had to change the collation and Storage engine settings for all Kunena database items. Why is this kind of change not part of any Kunena update? Everything we have in our very complicated website is working after upgrading to Joomla 4. But Kunena gives us endless problems. SO MANY PROBLEMS BECAUSE OF KUNENA.

I am glad that my advice has helped.
To be clear, I am a normal Joomla and Kunena user and have nothing to do with the forum programmatically.
I just like to help other users within my possibilities and also like to test beta versions and release canditates.
About your many problems you would have to inform the programmers because for me the forum, except for a few blemishes, works very well.
