Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

after updat to 6.0.9 and 6.0.10 message incorrect string value was created by SIETWOLT
Using Kunena 6.0.10 and at sudden the message after new topic: incorrect string value: '\xF0\x9F\x98\x8A)....' for column `xxx`.`jos_kunena_messages_text`.`message` at row 1
What can have caused this change? Tried several other collation values but no result.
Look forward for solution.

Have you installed the Community Builder? Try it with the Kunena - Community Builder Integration Plugin disabled.

Disabling this plugin - no effect.
In the PHPMyAdmin is for the Kunena-messages-text th following values: type:text Collatie: utf8_general_ci

The problem came unexpected. Maybe after an update.
No idea what the reason can be.

The tables and columns should have collation utf8mb4. But I don't think that triggers this error.

Thanks for your quick reaction.
The table adjusted accordingly, but indeed some change. The message is now: "Incorrect string value: '\xF0\x9F\x98\x8A)....' for column `xxx`.`jos_kunena_topics`.`first_post_message` at row 1.
I had to adjust the tables in kunena topics first post message and last post message. Then Kunena Forum works again.
