Upgraded Joomla from 3.10.11 to 4.2.6 with Kunena 6.0.7 - turned on Debug mode in Kunena configuration, and now it won't turn off - Kunena config shows debug mode is off, but still displays debug info on the front end and database even shows "debug":"0"

Maybe it's the cache. Clear the Joomla and browser cache, then log out and log back in.

What happens if you activate the debug mode in the configuration, then save, and then deactivate it again?

Even after clearing Joomla! and browser cache, debug info is still on - it did clear once after uninstalling and reinstalling Kunena 6.0.7, but it’s back to not turning off

Kunena config shows debug mode is off, but still displays debug info on the front end and database even shows "debug":"0"

Go to database again and try instead of debug": "0" with no value debug":""
Then go to configuration and refresh the page.
Another option would be to reset the configuration to default. But this resets all custom settings.

Then go to configuration and refresh the page.
Another option would be to reset the configuration to default. But this resets all custom settings.
