6.0.6 new install.
Added one post to test.  I can't edit my own , goes 404 error.  Reply, Edit and  Quote don't work.   Other functions do work like QuickReply and Delete.
Switched back to standard template from NTKay - same issue.

Thoughts?
Thanx!!!

Hello,

In Kunena configuration did-you enabled the setting : "Direct Component Access" ?

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Hi, Yes, Direct Component Access was enabled.  I read your post then disabled it, reloaded the Kunena page and navigated to and then attempted to edit the same post and it has same issue that is a "Page Not Found" post clicking Edit.
I created a new Test Page and same issue.
The above testing is on 6.0.7
Thanx for the thoughts?
Any other ideas?

Hey do you sometimes use an extra website security if so try it with that website security turned off
and it is useful if you submit a report

Yes, it was temporarily disabled based on the previous post that I should try disabling it.
I re-enabled it but same problem exists.

Any additional suggestions to fix this?
Thanx

It is not optimal if you only switch it temporarily. During troubleshooting, the default settings should be used as far as possible.
First, repair this menu item in the main menu (outlined in red).  Menu Issues and  Menu Tips Then reactivate Direct Component Access and test it with the default templates Cassiopeia and Aurelia.

Well goodie goodie.
I put the menu item as unpublished, created a new one choosing Kunena Home which Edit posts now works!
The unpublished (broken one) had Category View.

One of these days I would love to better understand Joomla's reliance on the menu

So, happy that it works!  Now, why doesn't category view also work?

Thanx for the tip!

Now, why doesn't category view also work?

Go to the Kunena menu and click on the first menu item "Forum". Select "Index" from the drop-down menu (see Menu Tips ).
