Solved Strange folder in joomla components

it's been a while since i've been on my test site suddenly in
the joomla > components has an extra folder that has myname_com.
And appears to contain content from Kunena 6 versions.
Are there more users who have this folder all at once?

A folder prefixed with the user name like username_com_kunena is not created by Kunena. Is it possible that you renamed the folder once for tests or as a backup?
Rename this folder to backup_com_kunena and install Kunena again, You will see, no folder is created with prefix leen.

okay I'll try that out locally soon

hi i seem to be getting old and forgetful
but apparently I did indeed rename the com_kunena folder when testing new kunena version 6.
and forgot to remove when everything is working fine and got into my akeeba's backups
that's why he kept coming back to restore websites
deleted the wrong folder from the test sites and akeeba backed up again
So it's not a problem and this topic can be marked as solved
