Once a post is made by any user, I get as a Superuser a 404, when trying to edit moderate or even report this post.
The forum is installed on a new domain, a new webspace, a new database, Joomla 4 and Kunena 6, all current versions. No extension installed, neither in joomla nor in kunena. More details are given below.
After an Edit on the post the error message on the 404-page is as follows:
404 View not found [name, type, prefix]: topic, html, site

(The same result came out, when The original poster tried to edit the post.)
I continued as the Superuser and tried the Quick Reply. And this works.
The Edit of the reply brings this message:
Kunena\Forum\Libraries\Route\KunenaRoute::stringURLSafe(): Argument #1 ($string) must be of type string, null given, called in ****/components/com_kunena/src/Service/Router.php on line 243

Any idea, what I can do? Thank you in advance.
Klaus

Hello,

@kwally and @Leen : In your Kunena configuration report, you have more than one item in mainmenu pointing to Kunena, when i look on your site the Kunena menu isn't present

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

I see the same misconfigured menu items in both of your configuration reports.
You have the Kunena menu item Home in your main menu. If you use this menu item as starting page, occur this reported error.
Kunena menu items may not be used in other menus, use the Menu Item Alias instead ( see here ).

The Kunena menu item Home is intended only as a parent menu item in the Kunena menu and for nothing else, and currently this menu item also should not be created manually anyway, he will not created as it should be.

Yes, rich, that's it.
I found it as an easy way to reach the forum from the main menu to use the offered "Home"-item from the Kunena-menu.

I removed now all Kunena-related items from the Main-menu and now it works.

Thank you!

ha ok deleted wrong menus and indeed it works now if I do it Rich's way.
But I always just have a kunena forum in my main menu item (just never changed that alias that was then automatically created)
and so I now understand that it conflicts with the default main menu item (Home) of Joomla itself.

Yes, the menu items are the main problem at the moment.
