Kunena 7.1.0 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.1.0 [K 7.1.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x./6.2.x This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 / K7.0 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.1
Just a reminder: K6.4.16 receives only securities fixes until end of 2026, so it's advised for users to upgrade to K7.1.

and ya know - Kunena REQUIREMENTS page docs.kunena.org/en/basics/requirements seems to indicate that J3.8.13 is still supported??

3.9 is more stable then 3.8.13

Its not a 3.9 Thing, I moved some code so we can support J4, but there are more improvements needed.
Now we have double functions, but linking to the Joomla code. On K6.0 I will remove it on the kunena part.

Can you make a little Kunena patch just for 3.8.13 (and below) Joomla - with only the three security fixes?
(It's going to be some time before we can move to J3.9 as it simply breaks a lot of things...)

(** or just point me to the specific code improvements so I can patch them myself...)

guys and gals, its been more than a MONTH since the security release came out and I still cannot install it, thanks to this "3.9 code bug"...
