Kunena 5.1.1-DEV | 2018-06-03 was created by unker
Hi there,
I've just updated my test side to Kunena 5.1.1-DEV | 2018-06-03 and got following error when I'm going to send a reply:
Argument 1 passed to KunenaForumMessage::attachEmailBody() must be an instance of Joomla\CMS\Mail\Mail, instance of JMail given, called in /mnt/webxxx/xx/xx/xxxxxxxx/htdocs/XXXXX.XX2/libraries/kunena/forum/message/message.php on line 487
Last well working version is Kunena 5.0.14 | 2018-03-14
Since it is a test side only, no problem, just want to let you know
Edit: Have just downgraded to 5.0.14 and can confirm that, despite the above error warning, the posts were sent, indeed.
Edit: With 5.1.1-DEV | 2018-06-04 no changes, errors remains
Best Regards
Hartmut
PS: if there is another place where to report such things, please let me know

Hi,
just tested Kunena 5.1.1-DEV | 2018-06-05, but still the same.
Returning to 5.0.14 solves the problem.

Is there any chance that this will be solved in near future?

are you sure you running Joomla 3.8.
Maybe a file isn't overwritten, or you use a outdated kunena template.

Good Morning,
I'm running Joomla 3.8.8 (have followed every update, so I do not believe that a file isn't overwritten each time.
My template is Crypsis, which comes along with Kunena, so I think I can assume it's up-to-date, can't I?
My php-version is 7.1.17
I really hope there is a solution available.

Hi 810,
thanks for your help, it works now
I had another issue after installation:
The modal function did not work at all, the respective boxes (short reply, smileys etc.) were shom "behind the curtain" only and could not be accessed.
I had to add the z-index setting to my custom.css of the template (JSN Epic pro)
I believe this class wasn't used before, right?
Once again, thanks a lot!
Best Regards
