Hello Kunena Support

Before I posted this message, I made sure to do extensive testing.
I am using Joomla 3.8.8 and PHP 7.2.1
I also installed the nightly build version for Kunena 5.1.1

Steps to reproduce problem
1. Login to Kunena 5.1
2. Go to Members list
3. Select a user that does not have a Custom Thumbnail and/or has not made any posts yet.

Page goes to the correct URL for that member, but opens to full sized webpage full of nonsense symbols.

Here is a screen shot showing what I mean.

Strange pattern of behaviour
1. Error when viewing a Users Profile is affecting most users, but not all users.
It seems like the oldest forum members who have Custom Thumbnails added to their Profile, are the only ones not seeing an error.

2. I then turned on the Debug system for Joomla.
After turning on the debug system, all user profiles displayed correctly without producing a page full or garbage characters.

Other things I tested
My first thought was that there was a problem with the Custom Kunena Theme I use from 9themestore.com
I did wait until 9themestore updated their theme to be compatible with Kunena 5.1
However, the problem also exists with Crypsis and Crypsisb3 themes.

I have tested and checked everything I can and am now out of ideas.
I have been using Kunena for about 5 years in a stable environment.

I have attached my Kunena Configuration file as a Text file.

Regards
Derek

**UPDATE**

I discovered something today that I should have checked before this !
The problem only occurs when forum members are logged in.
If a User Profile that is displaying errors is viewed in Public view (not logged in), the page displays correctly with no errors.

Here are some example URLs from my Test Website:
You would need to create an account and login to see the error.
I can provide a user login if anyone is interested.

Example of error - about 80% of user profiles are producing the same error:
www.moviestudiozen.com/msz_test1/forum/user/47-cebwdlive

Example of a user profile that is working OK - about 20% of the oldest accounts are displaying OK:

Two weeks ago I posted "Posting an answer does not work".
My problem was/is that the reply button is unresponsive. But it only happens when a forum member is logged in.
Seems there is a common cause for both problem cases.
Maybe this could help to solve the problem.

I've installed a nev dev-build now. This error should be fixed with Kunena templates, but also your NTS_Kay template need a update. Please contact the author of this template.
