Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Huge amount of subscribers crashes the category was created by gingerweb
I have a private forum where a large amount of users are subscribed to one of the categories. When a user posts to it the amoutn of emails the system sends causes a site lag issue which means sometimes the post is replicated 2 to 4 times making the situation even worse!

Is there a way to delay the notification emails being sent out at all?

I am in the midst of upgrading resources but would like to fix this anyway

Please try in the Kunena configuration -> tab Users -> E-mail to Multiple Recipients a higher value as 0.
Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!

Awesome thanks - Is there an explanation of what a higher number means at all?
I have set it to 50 for instance how will the notification emails be sent now?

Unfortunately, I don't know exactly how it works.
The limit is in : TO CC BCC
With a higher number it sends less mails but sends it by filling BCC.
