Question Blank notification emails

This was a problem with Kunena from version 5.0.3 which I started with. Now I updated to 5.04, but it's still present:
The notification emails are blank. There is no text, just a large grey, or blue background when I tell Groupwise to accept images. View is always html and can't be changed to plain text.

Steps:
- moderate forum
- user enters posting
- notification email about the posting arrives in SuperUser's/Moderator's inbox
- notification email is blank with either a blue or grey background. (The subject line is okay, e. g. "Bulletin Board Red card (For Sale)")

Do you use a custom kunena template?

No, I don't. It's the Crypsis default one. (I don't even use a custom template for the Joomla site.)

I had one prepared, but the "Attachment" button of the forum didn't work for me yesterday. (Pressing it did nothing at all, tried in three different browsers.) Today it does, but whenever I add an attachment and press "SUBMIT" I'm taken back to the main page, only to realise that the posting wasn't sent at all. I tried in Firefox and Chrome.

I am using the Blue Eagle template (1.5.4) and also have the problem with emails' bodies being blank (screen cap attached).

has this been resolved yet? It's annoying as all heck
