In Crypsis Template -> Features try to set "Topic Icons" to "Fontawesome" and "Load External CDN Fontawesome" to "Yes"

I have been having a similar issue, however I can see most of the icons but a few are missing, I have the settings you suggested already on.

For example I have icons missing for Announcements, Mark All Read and Logout in the profile dropdown menu, I have found a way to make them appear but that then gives me another issue. If I set Load Bootstrap CSS to yes they will appear along with my missing category images but some of the icons are then doubling up with Joomla's Icomoon icons.

Any ideas how to prevent the Icomoon icons appearing also?
