Question Default Message ordering in K5 Forum: Configuration front end not working...

OIC LOL Sorry to be a bother but i clicked on the the category questions in the in k5 configuration look and feel I changed the message ordering from newest to oldest saved it refreshed the page and it is still in the same order. Why?

Ah.. sorry, you meant the ordering within the topic. You see it, if you to open a topic. If you change the ordering, then the last post is always the first message.

I haven't changed the ordering in that topic. At any rate this is getting confusing and that option may not be need. Il just change it back to newest and leave it alone.

If you want to change the ordering for categories you must change it in the category setting.

I was hoping the member could change the order using CB forum configuration plugin. I thought that K5 setting could be related to why it appear to do any thing.

I'm sure i got field configuration right but it doesn't do any thing. At any rate i think that if i cant figure out the ordering thin in k5 than the member wont get it either so its not that important. Right?

Ok, think i figured it out finally. The setting message ordering applies to the replies to the topics they post in categories.
