How to reproduce the error?
1. Visit your forum and go to the "Search Menu"
2. Close both options by clicking the "X" Button.

3. Close and open your browser
4. Visit your forum again and go to the "Search Menu" again
5. Both options will be always closed by default, until you clear your cookies.

Are we talking about the same bug?
The same bug listed here?

In my case I still can see the problem.

Tested with: PHP 7.0.8 + J.3.5.1 + K.5.0.RC4 + Crypsis

This is a feature.

Just open it again. Wait 10-15 seconds, then go to other page, then go back.

The localstorage needs some time to process. Its the some for announcement. Now you can close the announcement, and if you go to other page, the announcement will be collapsed.
