Question Link problem with Latest Topics module

I have a Kunena install in my joomla 2.54 site.

I also have installed the latest module and tried every setting I can see but the links are not the same as they are if I go directly into the forum category.

The working link from the forum category would be..
www.airportcustomer.com/forum/cuss/89-fgfggf

The link to the same item from the latest module would appear as...
www.airportcustomer.com/cuss/89-fgfggf#72

I have tried every combination of SEO setting in joomla and kunena.

Ass you can see the /forum part of the path is being omitted.

Does anyone have any ideas. I could probably write an htaccess rule to redirect it but there is probably a proper solution.

Many thanks!

I do not understand "Joomla 2.54" Do you mean J! 2.5.4?

I do not know how to help you with this. This website here uses J! 2.5.28 and the Kunena Latest module works here (I do not know if the version here is version KL 3.1.1.1, however). This suggests to me that you have a routing issue peculiar to your website, probably caused by a badly constructed menu.

I am guessing that the link problem with the Kunena Latest module is not a problem with the module; I am guessing that the problem lies with your Joomla menu.

For me, the simplest starting-off point would be to use the "trash-burn-build principle" . See also Kunena menu issues .

I hope this helps.

Yes, this is caused by a bad menu.

try to recreate the menu, then check again. If its works, then rename the menu item, not removing them.

The Kunena menu is a Joomla menu. We suggest that you rebuild your menu. The information to help you do this is on the FAQs page and in Kunena menu issues article in the Wiki.
