Can't upload avatar! was created by sfeher
Hello,

I'm now more than an hour searching the internet on this issue. I just can't upload an avatar image. What happens is I choose my image hit save the page reloads and nothing happens. The file is not there in the media/kunena/avatar folder either.

The gravatar plugin is NOT enabled.
In the backend avatars are allowed and set to yes.
All the folders in the media/kunena are set to 755
GD is set and enabled as phpinfo shows

As I read in older versions you could choose weater to choose GD library as default. Where is it now?

Any ideas?

thank you,
Sebastian

1) Update joomla to J3.4.5 Because a high security leak.
2) Update Kunena to 4.0.6
3) Try to increase the upload size on the kunena configuration

Unfortunately I cannot do that just like that. It's not just any out of the box Joomla website that can be updated overwriting the files.

Has components and plugins etc that are no longer supported...

Increased the file upload size to no avail. Any idea what might be causing this?

you need to add:
<jdoc:include type="message" />

on your joomla template. Then you can see whats wrong.
