Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Hello,

I have checked your configuration settings, the max size for avatar si 2048 kb, for file is 3500 kb and for images is 3500 kb. I'am afraid that it check against limit of avatar and doesn't take care of limit of images and files.

Try to upload a file and/or an image with a size below 2048 kb and tell me if it work.
I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Almost sure that's the reason. Change 2048 on avatar upload size to 5000 and image or file (size 3.2 MB) can be uploaded.

I've tested it. You're right, it uses the limit of the avatar setting. This error exists only with Blue Eagle.
Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!

Yep. That was it.

I changed the limit on the avatar and now the upload is OK.
