Kunena 6.4.7 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.7[K 6.4.7] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.4
Important note: Go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated. This is particularly necessary for major version jumps so that the table changes are adapted.

I have noticed that in Kunena 6.4.x for the Aurelia Template the social share buttons are no more available.

Is it a bug or something that you manged differently?

These tabs on top no longer exist. The social share icons are now displayed in user profiles.

Hi, thanks for your answer Rich. I’m sorry but I don’t understand.

Those tabs on top of each topic were useful to share the topics on social networks. Everyone could share topics.

The social icons in user’s profiles are useful only to share with the community the social network pages of the single users.

But I think you agree with me: they are completely different use cases.

So why are the social share icons removed? What do you suggest to have the original functionality?

I think this was removed because most web operators use more suitable extensions for this purpose. But I could be wrong.
