Kunena 6.4.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.8 [K 6.4.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.4
Important note: Go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated. This is particularly necessary for major version jumps so that the table changes are adapted.

Call to a member function isClient() on null was created by dagroupinc
Got the above error when updating — took the entire site down.

After restoring the Joomla site to the previous working version we get:

Front End: Undefined constant "Kunena\Forum\Site\Dispatcher\KUNENA_PROFILER"
Admin / Kunena: 0 Undefined constant "Kunena\Forum\Libraries\Factory\KPATH_SITE"

Joomla v5.2.4
Kunena: v6.3.9
PHP: 8.3.19
MYSQL: 8.0.41-32

Then either your backup was corrupt or you didn't restore it properly. Did you empty root folder and database before restoring?

Yep, we've done tons of installs and restores over the years. Error only appears on Kunena pages, the rest of the site is fine

With all due respect, if you make a backup of a working website and restore it to the same place after emptying the root folder and database, you should not get any error messages.

According to the configuration report, I am surprised that your forum has not generated errors earlier. Kunena requires an intact Kunena menu, which you do not have. The kunena menu may not be removed, nor may kunena menu items be moved to other menus ( see here ). Restore your Kunena Menu and the errors should be gone.
Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!

Totally agree with @rich. Furthermore I can see that your Kunena template is severely outdated. From their version history:

I've tried installing a newer version of the template in the past but it won't install — trying to get a slightly older version compatible with Joomla v5.2.4
