Question 7z File Attachments - Download Issue

application/x-7z-compressed

Hello - I have 7z in my allowed file extensions because a number of my users prefer it to zip and rar compression formats.
The problem is with downloading the 7z format because it opens in a new tab as if the browser thinks it's an image instead of downloading as a file.
Is there any way to prevent this please?  Currently I have users right clicking the file and using "save file as.." but this is clearly not ideal.

Hello,

Add 7z type in Kunena configuration settings in tab uploads :

Thanks but obviously I have done that or they wouldn't be able to upload 7z in the first place.
I did notice that Kunena does know it's correct type in the attachments list so it's still a mystery.

Users have uploaded many 7z files at this stage - they are registered correctly in the attachments manager as type application/x-7z-compressed
The issue applies to all browsers.  But I am only concerned with chrome and firefox.

Try using the p7zip entry in a Unix environment or 7zip in a Windows environment.
Maybe it will work then.
