Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

Question About Posts' notifications/e-mail for users in a category ...

Hi,
My expectation was that users who subscribe to a category would received automatically an e-mail each time a new post is published in this category.
But it doesn't work. Users who subsribe to a category don't received anything.
In "configuration", I let all settings with default values, it means:
- Allow subscribtions = YES
- Category subscriptions = E-mail new posts
- Topic subscription = E-mail Every Update
- Ckeck subscription box = YES
My users are correctly registered as "subcribers" of the category.

So, any help for solving this problem ?

See that your kunena version is still this Kunena 6.0.3 | 2022-09-22 [ Git Repository ]
It may well be that that problem has been fixed in the latest current kunena version 6.0.4 2022-10-30
so I would update this first and then try again

HI,
I updated Kunena to version 6.0.4 but the problem is still there.
I made the test on the behalf of 2 different users (subscribers of the Categoy), making replies to different topics and posts, and I am the only one (as website administrator) receiving notifications. Actually I receive these notifications several time (3). But nothing was received by these users, and for sure by the others, all subsribers of the same category.
Any suggestions ?

You have selected the value 10 for E-mail to Multiple Recipients. Is the e-mail address you entered below the same as the one in your user profile? If yes, enter another mail address in Visible E-mail Recipient and test with it.

I have changed the e-mail for one that is not use in any other user's account.
The problem remains the same.
Notification of a new post is only sent (twice) to this new address, but not to the user who created the topic nor to the one who replied.
I am stuck with this problem.
I join again the Configuration report if you ever need it for trying to find from where comes this problem :

Your mail settings are correct. Remove the mail address again and test whether the users receive the subscription mails with "E-mail to Multiple Recipients = 0". But please check the spam folders first, maybe the mails can be found there.
