I have found the same issue with some more detail.
I installed 6.0 on a new Joomla 4.x instalation. I started to create categories in the back end, after each one i choose "Save & New". Some were top level categories, others were sub categories. Now the front end shows all correctly. How ever, back end AND in drop downs for category selection in front and back, only show 3 correctly as sub categories and all the others just get displayed as if they are top level categories. Im a coder so i know the more detail and instructions to reproduce are important. The categories must be saved correctly, but how the combos read categories, subcategories should get the dash caracter before them and sorted under the parent, for combos this CAN happen but most of the time does not. Itemitten bugs are hard to pin down i know. If i can help with any comparisons of the DB tables for the ones that work and ones that do not, please ask.
Thanks

Hello ...
I see this is an older discussion and I have Kunena upgrades applied (6.0.4.) Has this been addressed yet, or am i missing something? I cannot re-order categories. The 3 dots are still inactive after pressing the arrows.
Thanks ...

This bug is already fixed in Kunena 6.0.3 github.com/Kunena/Kunena-Forum/pull/9261
But the bug with the inactive dots still exist.

I've just installed Kunena 6.0.7 and it's still the same with the sort - it's not possible.

I kept trying to use the filters as well as hovering the "Status", "Title" or "ID" because they all show "Select to sort by this column, but nothing happens after you click on any of them.
Thanks. Thomas
