Can you post a configuration report
And do you sometimes use extensions like K2 ?

I think it may be because of the outdated Blue-Eagle template (version: 1.6.3)download the latest version (version 1.6.7 )
www.kunena.org/download/templates/blue-eagle
and use the standard  joomla templates for a test

Go to the Joomla Global Configuraton (System tab) and enable the debug mode, and on the Server tab set the error reporting to Development. Then try to submit a topic.
Maybe there will be a more accurate error message.

give it a try if you are at kunena plugins
disable the Kunena - Finder Enabled .
And maybe also check if the administrator > extensions > joomla-plug-ins
turning the search plugin on or off if that helps.
