Kunena 7.0.11 & Kunena 6.4.16 – Security Updates Released and K7.1 in RC1 2

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of three simultaneous security release : K6.4.16, K7.0.11 and K7.1 RC2. Just a reminder K6.4.16 receives only securities fixes untill end of 2026, so it's advised for users to upgrade to K7.0.11. K7.0.11 is the last release of the K7.0 because it's replaced by K7.1 branch with the stable release in the corner. The translations for K7.1 on crowdin.com/project/kunena-forum-7-1 needs to be checked or improved becasue it has been generated by TM (Translation Machine).

Dear Kunena team,

first of all, thanks to your dedication and work on this amazing forum software for Joomla. It's brilliant and I am really loving to work with it.

Since 4.0.10 though (upgrading from 4.0.6) I am running into a strange problem: The ranks aren't working anymore. The problem is, that no matter how many posts someone has, it always displays the same type of rank (the first one with zero posts). This is how I set them up:



And this is what happens in the frontend of the forum:



According to the rank setup, both users should have a different ran than "Space Marine" burt obviously it doesn't work.

I hope you can help me, no idea what#s going on.

The rank "Spacemarine" has the ID = 0. That's why this error occurs. Go to the rank manager and delete this rank. Then create the same rank again. It should solve your problem.
Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!
