Kunena 7.0.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.8 [K 7.0.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

After updating (clean install) to 4.0.9 the forum does not show anymore was created by hybridbeasts
Is there a checklist or something to fix the issue that the forum is not showing anymore after I updated to 4.0.9? As a first try I deleted and recreated the Kunena menu through Control panel. This did not work. Then I deinstalled everything and reinstalled 4.0.9. However, the forum is still not showing.

Yes, the menu is enabled and also shows up in the main menu ( here , last item on the right).

Could it be an issue that there is no "Kunena" module?

i think this is missing on your joomla template.

<jdoc:include type="component" />

First try to load with protostar jooomla template. If you see the forum, then you are misssing that code in your joomla template.

Very interesting! Indeed, after changing the template the forum shows up. But where should I add the line "<jdoc:include type="component" />" ?

Should be on index.php , you can see the example on the protostar template.
