Solved Kunena 4.0.3 Search problem

Hello i have Kunena 4.0.3 installed on Joomla 3.2.3 ver,and i have big problem with search option.

In my forum i have few groups of members with acces only for memembers, everything work good, other users can't see this groups posts and categories.

But yesterday i discovered problem, when user search another user who is a group member, in search results can see posts from closed only for this group topic posts.

i Can't find some options in kunena configuration, responsible for that settings...

Anyone Can hel me ?

Your Installation is out of date. You should upgrade Joomla and Kunena. I can not produce this error. Not with the template Blue Eagle as well as Crypsis. Check your user management, or if you use a other template, test it with the Kunena default template.

Thanks for the reply, may be a problem with my Joomla, because it did not show me that updates are available for kunena.

I try update everything and we will see...

I updated to the latest kunena and joomla and use newest blu eagle template, still the same, further discovered that even not logged users have access through a search engine to topics only for logged-in users as well as special groups.

Fortunately Administrative group is not visible...

If you type in kunena - search - search by name - as example user name "Piwo" (this user is in carp team group) - in search results yoy will see last posts of this user from Carp Team category, which is category closed only for few users from group "CarpTeam" created in joomla Groups....


The same could see unregistered users but i solved problem with this
through turning off search function for public users, but i can't do this with registered users - This is not Final solution, but work in this moment for me...
