Solved Category change to section phenomenon in Kunena Version 4, 3 und 2

Phenomenon occurs only in empty categories.
Options in Category Settings: I mark an empty categories as closed, then this will suddenly appear as a section and it can no longer be created topics.

This "phenomenon" is not unique to K 4.0.3. It is an annoying "feature" of Kunena that locking an empty category has the same effect as turning a category into a section. If a category is a section then you cannot create topics in it.

you can't close categories. Only disable it, or lock it. So what do you mean?

michak may have used the wrong term "closed" when he refers to locking an empty category. As you should know, 810, when you lock an empty category it transforms the category into a section. Does this make it clearer?
