Solved Kunena 4.0.1 upgrade made my forum VERY slow.

Hi,

I just installed the upgrade to Kunena 4.0.1 and my forum now is VERY slow. The pages take a long time to display in a browser. Prior to this the forum was FAST. It has to be something in the Kunena software or Kunena configurations because the rest of my site (non-Kunena pages) still display fast.

I know the problem is not hardware related either. My Kunena forum was running fast before this upgrade. Also, I have a SiteGround Enterprise dedicated server for my hosting which has powerful hardware so that can't be the reason why the forum is slow now.

Do you have any advice on how I can fix this?

Try to clean cache.
Or contact your hoster.

try also:
backend - kunena - template manager - select blue eagle - click on edit css

This will create a custom.css.

Maybe its slow because its missing.

or try disabled ads. maybe its slow.

1) Our issue.
You need to do this:
backend - kunena - template manager - select blue eagle - click on edit css - select custom.css - click on save

2) 2 slow js from addthis
