Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Hi, the subscribe checkbox is only checked in the fast reply form.

Even if I choose to don't check it automatically in the configuration it's not checked in the regular answer form but always checked in the fast answer form.

did you changed it on your profile?

Frontend - Profile - edit - Forum Settings - Select subscription as default

Hmmm, this value is on True and it works well if I set it on False but I never changed it and it worked well in the past.

Problem is that all my members are complaining about that since the upgrade to K4. Running a SQL Query which set this value to false for all members is a solution but I find this really dirty

.

And it doesn't fix the difference between fast and regular answer (Subscribe checkbox seems to take the system value and fast answer's checkbox seems to take the profile value : that's disturbing).

Same problem here, just upgraded to 4.0.3 from version 3 and have the same problem. Check Subscription Box is is set to NO but a fast reply always result in a default checked box

Just to add, some sites do not use the kunena user profile e.g. have everyting link to their Community Builder or Jomsocial profile. This way the don't have an option to change this. I think the default option should be available in the admin area.
