Kunena 7.0.11 & Kunena 6.4.16 – Security Updates Released and K7.1 in RC1 2

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of three simultaneous security release : K6.4.16, K7.0.11 and K7.1 RC2. Just a reminder K6.4.16 receives only securities fixes untill end of 2026, so it's advised for users to upgrade to K7.0.11. K7.0.11 is the last release of the K7.0 because it's replaced by K7.1 branch with the stable release in the corner. The translations for K7.1 on crowdin.com/project/kunena-forum-7-1 needs to be checked or improved becasue it has been generated by TM (Translation Machine).

Hi, just been preparing some final test to get a good feeling when going live with the new version on my websites :)
ran into the following problem... (testing with: 4.0.0-RC2-DEV, but also in RC1)

When posting a message with only the twitter url in it, like twitter.com/ArjanJansen73/status/604273776243666944

preview works perfectly, but when trying to submit I get the following error:

Error You have to many links in your message, please decrease it!

when replacing the twitter url with another url posting is possible...

Hello,

I think it's maybe because it gets some links and images urls from tweet so it adds some more urls, i will check that one

Hi, just installed the final version of Kunena.
Issue is still present.
both with the tweet tags and with the url
I have used a tweet that has no images or links in it, still the same issue.

when I increase the max links from 6 to 60 then it works?

Tweet widget adds some links so it's logical That if you increase max links option you can post, we have tried to fix it but we don't have à fix yet
